I had a pleasant stay at Samesun in San Francisco. The location was perfect for getting around the city. The room I stayed in was clean and well-maintained, with incredibly soft sheets that made for a comfy night. I appreciated having a fridge and blow dryer in the room. However, I was disappointed that there were no balcony views as advertised. The air quality in my room felt stuffy, especially since there’s no air conditioning. I had to crack the balcony door for some fresh air, which was met with some resistance from other guests. The common areas were inviting and vibrant, with great vibes throughout the hostel. Breakfast offered a limited selection—cereal, oatmeal, and coffee, which could leave some wanting more. Parking was also a bit of a hassle with limited spots, and the Wi-Fi was frustratingly slow. Despite these issues, the friendly staff made a significant difference. ,

will certainly stay here again
My stay was in a 6-bed dorm room and the place felt super safe, especially at night. The helpful staff made me feel welcome. The room had a private bathroom and great amenities like reading light and privacy curtains. Plus, the lobby vibe was awesome with free coffee and a cozy fireplace. The location is close to Fisherman’s Wharf, making it easy to explore.

It was just a fine choice for a weekend rest in San Francisco with great value. The check-in process was easy, and I appreciated having a luggage room for my bags before checking in. Just make sure to check in later in the day, as it’s not early!

I stayed in a Double Room with a private bathroom. The room was decent, but nothing too fancy. It had a fridge which was cool, but no coffee maker or microwave. The shower was fine, and the bathroom was clean. Bed was comfy enough for a night. They have a nice atmosphere in the common areas though, and felt safe around.

I had a wonderful stay at Samesun San Francisco. The room was clean and had a cozy seating area, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the main attractions and great eateries nearby. The privacy curtains in the dorm added a nice touch, making me feel at home.
The common area felt a bit small.

It was just a decent option for an overnight stop in San Francisco, great for the money. The breakfast was basic but did include coffee and yogurt to start my day. Bring your own pillow for more comfort if you don't want to sleep on a thin one.

Fantastic Stay with Friendly Vibes!
We had a wonderful time during our two-night stay! The front staff were exceptionally friendly, and our Queen Room with Balcony was perfect. Loved the convenient USB connections at each bedside. Just be mindful of street noise. opt for rooms away from the street for a quieter experience.
